Since 1989 the newspaper Zett has enriched Bremen’s media landscape.
As the voice of several cultural centres it is unique in Germany. We not only present our events but have an editorial section which is dedicated to one specific topic in every issue. Violence, Christianity, football, city development…- just to name a few. These intense discussions are completed by detailed event announcements of our concerts, plays, readings, festivals, and projects which are scheduled at the Schlachthof, the Lagerhaus, the Spedition, the Kito or at the Kuba.
The editorial parts are drawn up in an open editorial office under professional management. Anyone can contribute and try out their journalistic skills. Experience is not mandatory; with us you can learn to write.
The Zett is free of charge and distributed in cafés, pubs, libraries, community centres, cinemas, shops, theatres, and universities. It is also a supplement of the newspaper taz-Bremen
