How accessible is the website?
This website essentially meets the requirements of WCAG 2.1.
This website is fully keyboard usable.
The website is optimized for screen readers. Images are provided with alternative text to the greatest extent possible.
On this page, font size, color contrast and the display of background images can be adjusted via buttons.
This website is also available in “plain language” in German.
The accessibility of this website was supported by “Aktion Mensch”.
Accessibility
The way to the cultural centre leads over cobblestones. The Kesselhalle, the foyer and the toilet can be reached via a ramp for wheelchair users. Unfortunately, the ramp does not meet the accessibility requirements as it has a gradient of 18%. We will be happy to help if you need assistance in negotiating the ramp. Larger wheelchairs can also fit through all doors and emergency exits, and the entrance door opens automatically.
For seated events in the Kesselhalle, we reserve up to 5 wheelchair places + accompanying person. Please book in advance by telephone on 0421/377750.
Unfortunately, the other rooms are not accessible and we do not currently have a guidance system for the blind.
